Illinois Asset Building Group: “Increasing Savings, Expanding Ownership and Protecting Consumers” Conference

The Illinois Asset Building Group will host advocates, policy makers, practitioners, program participants, financial institution representatives, and others for two exciting days of asset building discussions and panels. The conference will provide attendees with a great opportunity to network with organizations and individuals from across the state concerned with economic stability for individuals and families.

Scholarships are available for those who are in financial need. The Illinois Asset Building Group gives scholarship preference to agencies working directly with low-income populations, non-profits committed to promoting economic equality in communities of color, and participants of asset building programs. All applications are accepted on a rolling basis until by October 1, 2010.
